My week without internet.

so on sunday we woke up to no interwebs! oh no! well, you know what that means. we went straight to hobby lobby where i picked up supplies for some cross stitches that i really need to start, some yarn, lots of things! oh yeah, and mario kart for the wii, which is SO FUN! i totally made that game my bitch. i love forced internet breaks, i get a lot done!

ok, so this pillowcase was inspired by a fellow craftster member & i can't remember her name, so if she happens to stumble across this blog, holla!

i'm really am happy with how it turned out...so you may ask yourself "what the hell is with 'sweet love'?"
well i'll tell you. sweet dreams would make sense no? that's what i was going for, but i've either a) ironed out all the ink on most of my alphabet patterns or b) they didn't want to transfer AT ALL. so i found a few words in the sublime stitching book & sweet love seemed to make sense at the time. like, showing love for sweets? i know, it really doesn't make sense to me now either, but oh well. i still like it!

i also got some knitting done! i told you i could knit brook! haha, aren't you proud? yeah, i'm definitely still a newbie at knitting and haven't ventured out into anything fancy yet, but i do know the basics! this is a little kerchief i finished up this morning.

all those little black tips in my hair? they will be gone soon & i will be....BLOND!! yay!

this is me enjoying my new kerchief haha...excuse me looking kinda gross...
i'm working on a scarf too, it's gonna be a fatty. i can't wait till it gets cold down here! it already is starting to feel a little like fall...yay!

another pillowcase inspired by another fellow craftster, the awesome miss lily!

dead kennedys was one of my favorite bands when i was younger & this was one of my favorite songs! plus, i've definitely been in this situation more than a couple of times..haha! the lettering seems a little sloppy to me, i should've used 3 or 4 strands instead of 6, but oh well! i still like the way it turned out & i think it compliments the other nicely...naughty & nice!

i'm having some troubles with craftster lately, so i don't even know if i'll be able to put this stuff up there...it won't let me reply to anything!

Maybe it could be "sweet love" as in sweet loving? You know, pillow case, bed, loving? Get my drift? :)

Man, you have been one crafty lady this week! It sucks about your internet, but I'm seriously impressed by the creativity that came bustin' out in its wake. I love both of your pillowcases, and your knitted headscarf is so cute! You're inspiring me to give knitting another go, especially with cooler weather coming on...
