Halloween Piglet

So this is my Halloween embroidery...cute little Piglet! I love love love Piglet so much! Besides Eeyore, Piglet's my favorite. Winnie the Pooh & Tigger are Will's favorites. Yeah, we are definitely little kids at heart...I mean, our honeymoon was going to Disney World for a week. Yay! I wanna go back sooo badly.

I had a bunch of Halloween themed printouts...Frankenstein, the Bride of Frankenstein, random Halloween-y stuff...but I figured I go with this one. I did crayon tinting again & I like the way it turned out a lot better the second time around. I colored before I did the stitching..which caused me to lose some of the lines in the pumpkin but I just used the picture for reference. Not sure what I'm going to do with him..if it wasn't so close to Halloween already I would put him up on Etsy, but nah...I kinda wanna keep him for myself. Maybe put him on a pillow or something...

So I totally skipped school today & me & Will are going to go costume hunting for the party we're going to this weekend..fun fun! All I know is that I wanna be someone dead..or severely injured...so many choices!

What do you guys think of ol' Piglet? And what are you guys going to be for Halloween?

Carebears & Winnie the Pooh latch-hooking!

i really do have love for latch hooking. i know it's not the most creative craft, but it's definitely relaxing & fun to me! i saw this the other day & said what the hell, i haven't done one in a minute! i was going to keep the care bear one for myself because i'm a freak about care bears haha! since my 1st birthday i've gotten a care bear, on my birthday....this lasted up until i was in my teens & i still have all my bears & cousins. my very first one was of course, birthday bear, with the little cupcake & one candle in his belly :) i even gave Will my brave heart lion when we started dating..that meant i was serious! haha

anyway! i think i actually might make this a wall hanging & give it to a fellow care bear freak, my friend joni. i think she'd really appreciate it!

the winnie the pooh one i did a couple of years ago, for Will because he loves winnie the pooh, a LOT. it's pretty adorable!

i did a super huge one for my first one which was a giant rainbow my mom had started working on in the 70s & never even got halfway through. i took the reigns & finished it though! i sadly have no evidence because it's still at my parent's house. believe me, it's as awesome as it sounds, as far as giant rainbows go.

hopefully soon, i'll have some more stuff to put up craft wise...i'm a busy lady you know!
