so the other day i got a myspace message from my buddy marc. he's in a band called atreyu.
he said he was showing the drummer, brandon, some of my stuff & that he was interested in getting a piece for his wife! needless to say i was pretty excited & happily obliged! after a few emails i got an idea of what he was looking for and came up with this...


the date is the date they got married-october 19, 2007. ha, i constantly checked the email making sure the date was right. i would hate the fuck that part up! i'm really happy with how it came out & i hope he is too. and of course i really hope his wife is happy :)



this was such a cool frame so i had to take a picture of it too. i think it goes well with the embroidery.

and can i just say that although i'm not much of a fan of the band, i'm really proud of marc. he's an awesome & genuine person & i'm glad he's having such success, not only with his music but with his art.

i'll be getting in touch with brandon sometime in the next day or so to get all the info to send it to him & so forth. and i hope to be getting a reply soon from sublime stitching on the licensing agreement so i can set up shop!

i have one more fairly large cross stitch i wanna do then i want to put the needle down for a minute & maybe practice crocheting!
