Tattoo flash embroideries

Seems as though I've neglected this blog! I promise it's not on purpose, but life sometimes gets in the way with my blogging I suppose :)

So what's new? My husband & I moved into our new apartment, I've been keeping busy with crafts (of course), and trying to concentrate on building my clientele at the salon..I've been a busy girl!

Shall we get on with the crafts? Let's....

For the past few days I've been busy with a pretty nice sized embroidery. I'm super proud of it although looking at it after it's finished there are a few things I would change, but that's just me being a perfectionist. I don't think it's any secret that I love embroidering tattoo flash, but man I really loved this project. So much satin stitch!

available @ my etsy for $35!

While Will(the hubs) is always complimentary of my work, he seemed especially impressed by this :)

I also did a piece with some color tinting, which I looooove! It really does add a lot to embroidery.

This one I am keeping for myself. Me likes.

And although this last one doesn't really constitute as tattoo flash, it does have tattoo lettering!
I'm not going to say I hate stupid people because, without them, what would there be to entertain me? I will say that I think someone with some intelligence is definitely extremely attractive though, don't you agree?

Yeah, it looks a little dirty. That's because the ink from the brains transfer kinda bled through. A wash & it'll not look...dirty haha.

That's all for now! I have several more projects to post about soon though, so check back. And hey, have you checked out my Etsy store yet? :)

  1. My fiance's a tattoo artist. I remember one day he was tattooing someone at the shop and I was embroidering a skull wreathed in flames. Another tattoo artist pointed out that it looked like a tattoo to which I replied that it did, but at least I can use a seam ripper if need be!
